2010-2011 Faith & Life Lecture Series Announced

The Faith & Life Lecture Series -- a community service of St. Philip the Deacon -- will once again bring to the Twin Cities five nationally and internationally known speakers during 2010-2011.

The series is designed to create open and welcoming public forums where members of the Twin Cities community can hear speakers discuss how Christian faith is connected to different dimensions of everyday life.

This year's season -- the eighth year of the series -- will feature the following talks:

Faith & The Gifts of Imperfection: Living with Courage, Connection and Compassion
Dr. Brené Brown

Dr. Brené Brown serves as a research professor and writer at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. For the past ten years, she has studied vulnerability, courage, and authenticity. 
 
 
Faith & Imagination: Creating a Holy Counterculture
