Mission Market

SPD Mission Market: A Store with a Purpose

St. Philip the Deacon has opened its new Mission Market, featuring handcrafted gifts made by artist entrepreneurs in developing countries. 100% of proceeds from this endeavor go to support these artisans, as well as SPD's other mission efforts.

The Mission Market will be staffed by members of the Joy Circle on Sunday mornings, but you can make cash or check purchases at any time, on the honor system. Just find our little store in the southeast corner of Fellowship Hall. Stop by and find a special treat for yourself, or do some early Christmas shopping!

Summer 2017 Haitus

Mission Market is closing for the season after church services on Sunday, May 14, and will reopen in the fall.

We have been so thankful for the support and success of this new SPD mission. There has been so much interest in not only our goods, but the idea behind the market and because of this, we are excited to continue to reimagine and define the space even more next fall.

Due to high demand, we will have our greeting cards available throughout the summer months to purchase via the Honor Box System. The card racks hold hundreds of cards from birthdays to confirmation cards. All cards are $2.50 + tax ($2.68) – even if they say a different price on the cards.

We look forward to continuing the SPD Mission Market journey with our incredible congregation in the fall. Thank you for your support!
