
Please join us Thursday, September 25 as the 2008-2009 Faith & Life Lecture Series begins with a talk by Dr. Timothy Johnson.
Dr. Johnson, Medical Editor for ABC News, will speak on "Faith & Finding God in the Questions."
This free public event is at 7:00 p.m. at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
Dr. Johnson, who has achieved distinction as one of the nation's leading medical communicators of health care information, has provided commentary on medical problems and answers for viewers of ABC NEWS' Good Morning America since the program's debut in November 1975. Originally headed for the ministry, he graduated in 1963 from North Park Seminary, but two years later decided to enter medicine.
Dr. Johnson is the founding editor of the Harvard Medical School Health Letter and co-editor of the Harvard Medical School Health Letter Book. His book Finding God in the Questions is a New York Times bestseller.
In addition to his medical positions at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, he serves as assisting minister of the Community Covenant Church in West Peabody, Mass.
