Baptism Workshops –
Baptism Workshops at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church are designed to prepare parents, expectant parents, godparents and grandparents for an important milestone – the Baptism of a Child.
Baptism Reunion –
A reunion of families with newly baptized children who gather to celebrate and build relationships in the family of Christ.
Bible Distribution to 3 year old children –
In the fall of each year, all three year old children entering Faith Creek receive a gift of a Beginner’s Bible.
Childcare Ministry –
Caring and loving environment for children 6 weeks – 3 years is offered during all worship times.
Cradle Roll –
Birthday cards and faith development tips are sent to the families of our youngest members to encourage the child’s spiritual development.
Family Playtime (Preschool) –
An opportunity to play with your preschool child in a Christian environment. A place to meet other parents with young children. Available Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, September through May.
Wrapped in Love –
A ministry to welcome a new arrival to a family (birth/adoption) and to support/uphold the family. Families are welcomed with “Swaddling Prayers” and “Heart Dishes”
Home visits to Newborn children and their parents –
A friendly face from the faith community visits to welcome the new born child.
Mom and Baby –
A time to meet with other new moms to socialize and learn from each other.
Rainbow Bags –
Activity bags for preschool children during worship time.
Three Year Old Welcome Party –
A special time is scheduled to meet the teachers and see the Faith Creek classrooms.
