The Harbor
A Refuge of Experiential Worship at St. Philip the Deacon
The Harbor at St. Philip the Deacon is, as its name implies, a place of refuge and shelter. It is a place for people who are weary from the journey of life to come and find rest. It is a place for people who may feel isolated and alone to gather in safety as a community.
But, as the name also implies, The Harbor isn’t a place where we come to stay. Ships come into harbors to be repaired and restored and strengthened. Why? So they can get back to the work they were made for – to be sent back out onto the open seas.
In the same way, we gather at The Harbor to be restored and strengthened and made whole – so we can be sent back out into the world and do the work God calls each of us to do.
Our prayer is that The Harbor will be a place where you can find peace, where you can find community, and where you can be strengthened and supported for your journey of faith.
See you at The Harbor.
