- Adopt a resident of Smith Lodge, Mission Lodge, Home Free Shelter, Our Savior's Shelter and Anishinabe Wakiagun this Christmas by giving them gifts and our prayers. Gifts due by December 14.
- Adopt a family from Home Free Shelter (early to mid-December), or shop from a hoped-for gift list for Home Free Shelter. Gifts due December 14.
- Shop from a list of hoped-for gifts for Kaleidoscope kids at Messiah Lutheran in the Phillips neighborhood. Gifts due December 7
For the Holiday Store:
We are hosting a Holiday Store at The Center for Changing Lives (also home of Messiah Lutheran Church and Lutheran Social Services, 2400 Park Avenue, Minneapolis), where inner children will "shop" for gifts for their parents.
- Shop from a list of hoped-for gifts for adults for our Holiday Store, from which inner city children will choose gifts for their parents. Gifts due by December 7.
- Volunteer to help in the Holiday Store on Saturday morning, December 11: help children shop, keep the store stocked, be a ticket taker, greeter, gift wrapper, etc. Gift wrappers could include younger children along with their parents. All other areas welcome volunteers age 15 and over.
- Purchase books for kids. Each child shopping in the Holiday Store will chose a book for him/herself. Books due December 7.
