Which Classes Are For Me?

We have grouped learning opportunities into different categories. Under each category heading you will find a brief description of the types of classes offered in that area, and the names of the classes.

A complete calendar of individual classes and schedules can be found here under our Calendar section as well as on the Adult Learning Ministry bulletin board (in the Fellowship Hall). The calendar lists the leader for each class and you are welcome to contact the leader for more information.

In selecting a class, look for topics that address questions you have been asking. Look for the structure that best suits you: some classes take shape around discussion; others around lecture; others blend the two. And, look for the time commitment that best fits your schedule.

You are encouraged to participate in at least one class or series each year. Before attending a class for the first time, contact the leader to confirm meeting date, time, and place.

Recommended Study Bible

If you are in the market for a new Bible, let us recommend the Concordia Self Study Bible in the New International Version. The Concordia Self Study Bible is filled with extensive notes by respected scholars and theologians helpful to both the beginner and the advanced student of the Word. The New International Version is a reader friendly translation that lends itself particularly well to reading alone or out loud for group study.
