Raising money is one of the biggest pieces of this event! You don't have to raise money to participate in the sleep out, but it is encouraged for all participants. Even if you can't actually sleep out at the event you could still choose to raise money for this great cause!
Awards (named at the bottom of this page) will be given to the three highest fundraisers! Please read carefully the following fundraising instructions.
The fundraising deadline is Wednesday, December 1st. All money must be turned into me (Jeremy Lahaie) on or before this day. Online donations can still be made after this date, but credit will not be given to fundraisers in the competition.
If you are planning on participating in this fundraising competition you need to notify me by email stating that you would like to be added to the fundraising team. (If you send in your Sleep Out registration you will automatically be added to the team.)
Collecting Checks and Cash: Checks can be made out to IOCP. All cash and Checks need to be turned in to Jeremy Lahaie by the deadline mentioned above for credit to be given in the competition.
Online Giving: We do have an online giving site. If you plan on having people donate online and you want credit for the donation you need to inform the people that are donating in your name to give you the credit when they are filling out the online donation form. (When they click on the "make a donation" button they will be taken to a page to collect information. The very first drop box menu is where they would select your name.)
