Retreats are an important part of how we build relationships with God and with one another. During the year we will offer several opportunities for students to participate in a retreat. Confirmation students are required to participate in one retreat (however, they may choose to participate in more!).
We work very hard to come up with options that are meaningful, yet have enough flexibility to work with families’ busy schedules. Our vision for retreats is to develop a sense of community among small groups, the middle school program, and the St. Philip the Deacon community at large. In order for that to happen you must commit to the entire event—no late drop offs, no early pick-ups.
NOTE: The registration fees paid for retreats/trips do not stay at St. Philip the Deacon. They are paid ahead of time to the camps and retreat centers. Because of this, deposits and registration fees are non-refundable.
Financial assistance is often available for our trips, as well as fund-raising opportunities. We do not desire that cost ever be a reason for a student not to participate. Please contact Amanda Berger or Pastor Tim Westermeyer for financial assistance.
